TRI-STATE BANK of Memphis has the following open positions.

SENIOR LENDING OFFICER
Manage the loan portfolio according to policy and procedures. Evaluate and authorize or recommend applicants for credit: church mortgages, consumer credit, micro-business loans, etc. Develop prospects.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA a plus; Demonstrated knowledge in commercial lending and underwriting. Seven years lending experience, preferably commercial; underwriting experience a plus; supervisory management experience; organizational, analytical, cross selling, communication, and customer service skills


COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Perform duties as the Bank Secrecy Act/OFAC Officer, Community Reinvestment Act Officer, Privacy Officer, and Bank Security and Safety Officer. Develop, implement and administer all aspects of the Bank's Compliance Management Program as well as plan, organize, and control the Bank's day-to-day administrative, lending and operational compliance activities; collaborates with the president and executive vice president in the overall administration of these directives for the Bank. Participates in various committees, audits and examinations; conducts staff training related to new hires, compliance, customer service, mainframe and software computer programs. Consults and guides the Bank in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting or related banking experience; demonstrated knowledge of compliance regulations; must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; demonstrated use of office software. Three to five years related compliance experience, banking experience a plus; must be able to travel to various bank sites.

ASSISTANT AUDITOR
Perform in-house and branch audits; assist, formulate and assimilate audit findings and performance reviews; assist with reconciliation and improvement strategies to evaluate compliance effectiveness and efficiency. The position assists with records filing, maintenance.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with four years experience in a financial institution; demonstrated analytical, mathematical, oral and written communication skills required. Proficiency with computer software is essential, excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively plan and prioritize workload. Some travel to branch locations required.

TELLER
Provide courteous and professional teller service to all customers and process various teller transactions including paying and receiving cash, making deposits, process withdrawals, redeem U.S. Savings Bonds, balancing, etc. following the Bank’s established policies and procedures; anticipate customer needs, make appropriate referrals and recommend products and services including sell money orders, cashier’s checks, travel checks and other Bank products and services, etc.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, three years heavy cash handling and balancing experience, prior bank teller experience a plus; demonstrated mathematical skills; knowledge of computer software, excellent communication and customer service skills. Some travel and work on Saturday required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs pounds and stoop and bend.
